ISO 9001 Supplier Assessment Instruction

Tedarik Supplier firm refers to companies that provide goods or services to an enterprise. In terms of ISO 9001 Quality Management System standards, companies that establish ISO 9001 Quality Management System in their enterprises and obtain ISO 9001: 2015 Certificate cannot purchase goods from any company. Companies to purchase a product or service must meet certain conditions. Suppliers selection and evaluation of supplier companies are therefore made.

In order to carry out such a study, a supplier evaluation table must be prepared. In this table, the quality of the supplier products, delivery time, price, payment method and ISO 9001 Quality Management System CertificateA score calculation is made on the basis of whether or not it has and similar criteria. Each business determines its own criteria and points according to its organization and point of view. At the same time, supplier companies can decide which rating ranges to evaluate as good, medium or bad.

ISO 9001: 2015 Supplier Evaluation Instruction is prepared with the aim of determining the principles and responsibilities to be applied in the selection of the supplier companies and the evaluation of the existing supplier companies.

First time to work supplier companies During the periodic evaluation studies of the supplier companies that are going to be evaluated, or for the supplier companies to be evaluated, points are calculated according to the criteria in the supplier evaluation table. If the score obtained is within the expected score range, this supplier is included in the Supplier List or the firm maintains its place in this list.

In general, delivery day scoring is calculated as follows:

• Delivery on time: 30 points
• Delivery in a week: 20 points
• Delivery in two weeks: 10 points
• Delivered late in two weeks: 0

Delivery quantity scoring is as follows:

• Delivered in specified amount: 30 points

• 25 delivers more than a percentage of the specified amount missing: 20 points
• 50 delivers more than a percentage of the specified amount missing: 10 points
• 75 delivers more than a percentage of the specified amount missing: 0 points

Or the annual delivery quantity scoring is as follows:

• Delivered in specified amount: 30 points

• 25 delivers more than a percentage of the specified amount missing: 20 points
• 50 delivers more than a percentage of the specified amount missing: 10 points
• 75 delivers more than a percentage of the specified amount missing: 0 points

Of course, these criteria and scores may be different according to the needs and expectations of the business itself.
