Lifting transmission vehicles are used extensively in many establishments and are subject to periodic tests and checks that must be carried out to ensure the safe use of pressure vessels, equipment and installations. The following principles are applied in the tests, tests and controls to be carried out in accordance with the provisions of Occupational Health and Safety legislation:
- Unless otherwise stated in the standards, Lifting and forwarding toolsshould be able to safely lift and suspend a minimum of 1,25 of the declared load.
- These vehicles must have sufficient load brakes to withstand this load.
- The controls to be carried out must be carried out by mechanical engineers, machine technicians or high technicians.
- If periodic checks are carried out by non-destructive testing methods, these checks should only be carried out by engineers, technicians or technicians trained in accordance with the TS EN 473 standard.

Lifting Conveying Equipment load tests are also performed for this purpose and are subject to the provisions of this regulation. Inspection and testing organizations also operate during the tests in accordance with TS EN ISO 17020 General Conditions for the Operation of Various Types of Inspection Organizations.
